Aims of the symposium

to present an updated picture of the range of stroke unit coverage and organisation in Europe
to evaluate differences in admission and discharge policies, and intensity of care
to review the evidence from trials and systematic reviews (delegates will be provided with a list of titles of relevant Cochrane reviews, and will be granted free access to the Cochrane Library for 30 days after the Conference).
to identify key issues for future research
